Want to lose weight, but barely have time in your day to spend hours in the kitchen? That’s where SHEKO weight loss shakes come in! As part of a calorie-restricted diet, these weight loss drinks replace a complete meal, with 21 g of protein plus 27 vitamins and minerals at just 200 kcal per shake.
You can prepare your weight loss shake simply by mixing powder and milk in just 30 seconds.
Why a weight loss shake makes your routine so much easier:
- Goodbye, calorie counting: Instead of weighing every ingredient, you get a controlled portion size with clear nutritional values. So you know exactly what’s in every sip.
- Everything you need, rigorously tested: To be officially called a “meal replacement”, weight loss drinks must meet specific EU requirements for energy and nutrient density.
- Maximum flexibility: Whether you want to follow a structured diet or simply make smart everyday choices, just include your weight loss shake in your meal plan once or twice a day, depending on your goal.
Weight loss shakes and a calorie deficit: how to use meal replacements for weight loss
How can you feel good in everyday life without constantly feeling hungry? A balanced approach means no crash diets, but a balance that fits your everyday life.
In this context, a functional meal replacement in the form of weight loss shakes can be a good option. Thanks to their high protein content, weight loss shakes can help promote a feeling of fullness. We know that nutrient intake often falls short during a calorie deficit, so we ensure you get an optimal supply of all essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals. Protein also contributes to the maintenance of muscle mass.
Using our weight loss shakes in everyday life
- To lose weight: Replace 2 of your 3 main meals each day with a SHEKO weight loss shake. Make your third main meal and small snacks from wholesome, nutrient-rich foods.
- To maintain your weight: Replace 1 main meal each day — whether breakfast, lunch or dinner — with a shake. Your remaining meals should form part of a balanced diet.
How do our weight loss shakes make it easier to manage your calories?
Replacing a regular meal with a protein shake makes it easy to keep track: you save calories and know exactly where you stand at a glance.
As preparing a shake with a high-quality weight loss powder takes very little time, shakes are ideal for stressful days at the office, busy family life or after exercise. SHEKO weight loss shakes offer a quick, predictable alternative to cooking and make it easy to keep your nutrition goals in sight, even on hectic days.
Why is protein so important when losing weight with shakes?
When you eat less, protein becomes a key building block in your diet. A protein powder shake helps maintain muscle mass — exactly what you want to preserve while losing weight. That’s why an optimal protein content is an essential part of any good meal replacement.
Our protein shakes for weight loss provide at least 21 g of high-quality, two-component protein per serving. This makes it easy to meet your daily protein needs and contribute to a normal nutrient intake as part of a balanced diet.
Weight loss drinks: nutritional values make the difference
A look at the nutrition table tells you whether a meal replacement is good. If you’re cutting calories, it pays to look closely: when you eat less overall, every meal — even one in a shaker — should provide valuable nutrients.
A complete weight loss shake that meets strict EU requirements provides a precisely balanced ratio of protein, fats and carbohydrates. We use high-quality whey and milk protein and also provide you with 27 vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, B vitamins, vitamin D, calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc.
Strict quality checks and manufacturing standards guarantee the highest levels of purity and safety for your nutrition.
What makes a high-quality weight loss shake:
- Optimal protein content: At least 21 g of premium protein per serving, as protein contributes to the maintenance of muscle mass.
- A smart calorie balance: Just around 200 kcal per prepared meal — the ideal basis for your calorie deficit.
- Comprehensive nutritional support: A range of essential vitamins and minerals can contribute to a normal nutrient intake.
- Uncompromising quality: Controlled manufacturing standards to ensure a safe, pure food product.
- A variety of flavours: From fruity strawberry and creamy vanilla to bittersweet espresso. More variety makes it easy to stick with your routine.
Our weight loss shakes also make an excellent base for a wide range of recipe ideas!
Filling weight loss shakes: your mindful everyday meal
The best thing about our approach: enjoyment remains a regular part of your everyday life. We follow the simple 80/20 rule. 80% mindful eating and 20% freedom for everything that brings you joy. That includes birthday cake at the office or a spontaneous dinner with friends.
The 80% is easy to achieve: you can comfortably cover one or two meals a day with your SHEKO weight loss shake. Make your remaining solid meals balanced and colourful, ideally with plenty of fresh vegetables, complex carbohydrates and a good source of protein. Drink enough water or unsweetened tea alongside them, without hours of cooking or rigid plans.
And the 20%? That’s yours. Because a path that bans everything you love isn’t one you’ll follow for long.
5 things a weight loss shake needs to do (and how SHEKO delivers)
- Keep your calorie goal in sight: Know your daily calorie needs so you can plan an appropriate calorie deficit. Our weight loss shakes make tracking especially easy: one prepared serving has just around 200 kcal. So you always know exactly where you stand when replacing one or two meals a day.
- Use high-quality protein sources: Protein, contained in the weight loss powder, is at the heart of your weight loss shake. We use first-class whey and milk protein in our recipes.
- Natural flavour instead of artificial additives: Always take a look at the ingredients. A good weight loss shake stands out for its high-quality ingredients and lack of added sugar. We get our flavour from real fruit or spices instead of artificial flavourings. Good to know: the sugar in the nutrition table isn’t added refined sugar, but the natural milk sugar (lactose) from the milk it contains.
- Consider balanced nutrient density: A weight loss shake intended to replace a meal must have a carefully considered balance of protein, fibre, fats and carbohydrates. Our weight loss shake contains vitamins and minerals that can contribute to the normal functioning of the body.
- A range of flavours for long-term success: To keep your everyday routine varied, we at SHEKO offer a wide range and release a new seasonal Limited Edition every month.

FAQ
How many weight loss shakes per day make sense?
For a moderate calorie deficit, replace two meals a day with a weight loss shake. At least one balanced, solid meal with vegetables and fibre remains important. If you want to lose weight faster, it’s best to discuss this with your doctor or a nutrition professional. At SHEKO, we recommend a moderate deficit of 300 to 500 kcal a day.
What’s the difference between weight loss powder and a ready-to-drink shake?
You mix weight loss powder yourself with milk or a milk alternative. Ready-to-drink weight loss shakes come premixed in a bottle.
The main difference is flexibility: with powder, you choose your liquid, mix flavours as you like and can even use the same powder to make porridge or pancakes. Ready-made drinks make those decisions for you, but usually cost more per serving and can’t be varied.
Are filling weight loss shakes suitable as meal replacements?
Weight loss shakes approved as meal replacements meet legal requirements for calories, protein, vitamins and minerals. Thanks to their protein content, drinkable meals can help promote a feeling of fullness. However, they shouldn’t permanently replace all solid food.
Which weight loss shake really works?
A weight loss shake does its job when it makes a calorie deficit easier, keeps you full and provides the nutrients you need. And when you still enjoy drinking it after eight weeks. Even the best shake is no use if it stays in the cupboard.
That’s exactly where SHEKO weight loss shakes come in: around 200 calories per serving, 21 g of protein to maintain your muscle mass, plus all essential vitamins and minerals. We get our flavour from real fruit and spices instead of artificial flavourings. And with a wide range of flavours plus new Limited Editions every month, things stay varied even after weeks.
Can you really lose weight with weight loss shakes?
Yes. Replacing two main daily meals with meal replacements as part of a calorie-restricted diet contributes to weight loss.
The reason is simple: you save calories without having to do the maths. Two meals have fixed nutritional values, while you choose your third meal freely. What happens afterwards is what matters. That’s why SHEKO isn’t just about losing weight, but about building eating habits alongside it that work without a shake, helping to prevent the yo-yo effect.
Are weight loss shakes really good?
Yes, if they do more than just save calories. A good weight loss shake replaces a meal while providing protein, vitamins and minerals. That’s what sets it apart from a classic diet shake, where the focus is simply on having as few calories as possible. Combined with balanced solid meals, it becomes a routine that still works after those first kilos are gone.
How long can you drink weight loss shakes?
No end date, no pressure: a meal replacement isn’t a short-term programme, but a flexible meal for everyday life. Only the number changes over time: to lose weight, you replace two main meals a day; later, one is enough to maintain your weight. And if you eventually only reach for your shaker on stressful days, that’s perfectly fine too. The important thing is to include at least one solid, wholesome meal each day.
