It's that simple:
- Place 45 g of baking mix and 120 ml of milk (1.5%) in a shaker.
- Shake until the mixture is nice and creamy.
- Let the finished batter rest for 5-10 minutes.
- Grease a pan or waffle iron well and bake the batter until golden brown over low to medium heat.
- Enjoy! Plain or with your favorite toppings.
Tip:
- Depending on your taste, you can also use plant-based milk alternatives or mix creative extras into the batter, such as a few tablespoons of yogurt, an egg, or a mashed banana.
- The consistency can also be adjusted as desired with more or less liquid. If it becomes too thick, add a splash of sparkling water, for example. This makes the batter extra fluffy without increasing calories.

How do you make the best pancakes and waffles?
For pancakes, we recommend making smaller pancakes. It's best to use a non-stick pan and lightly grease it with a little oil or butter if necessary to prevent sticking. Timing is crucial when flipping: wait until the top is no longer liquid and small bubbles form before flipping the pancake.
For waffles, it's particularly important to grease the waffle iron well, and that includes after each waffle! This prevents sticking. You can use oil, butter, or baking spray for this. If the batter runs out too much, make it a bit thicker by using a little more powder or less liquid. A mini waffle iron often works better than large waffle irons. If waffles still don't turn out well, try the pancake version – it's usually easier!
Alternative baking methods: You can also bake the dough in the air fryer. Simply pour it into a silicone mold and bake it at 160 degrees for approx. 15 minutes. Or spread the dough thinly on a baking sheet with parchment paper or form small pancakes with it and bake it in the oven at approx. 175 degrees for about 20 minutes. It also works great!

Can I also prepare the baking mix with plant-based milk?
Yes, that is easily possible! Depending on the plant-based milk alternative used, however, the taste and consistency can change. Make sure to choose an unsweetened variety. This way you avoid additional sugar.
