If you have enough freezer space, buy a few punnets of local strawberries at the market during the season. They'll be ripe, sweet, and juicy, and also particularly inexpensive. At home, you can wash, hull, and freeze them in portions – ta-da: delicious strawberries all year round.
preparation
-
Place the strawberries in a blender and blend with the almond milk and SHEKO strawberry powder until creamy. If the mixture is too thick, simply add a splash more almond milk .
-
Pour the milkshake into a tall glass, top with chia seeds and enjoy.
If you don't have any frozen strawberries on hand and are too impatient to freeze them completely before blending, you can use them as is. The advantage of frozen strawberries is that they pleasantly chill the shake, but you can achieve the same effect with a few ice cubes.
