How filling is the Balance Shake?

Our Balance Shake will keep you full for a long time despite its low calorie count of just under 200 kcal. The secret behind it? We have spent years perfecting the optimal nutrient combination. The result: The shake contains all the micro and macronutrients your body needs for a complete meal. It also provides at least 20 grams of protein. The exact duration of satiety depends on various individual factors, including gender, weight, and activity level. However, based on the experience of thousands of customers and the results of market research, we can say that a shake will typically keep you full for 3-5 hours.

How many meals do I replace with the shake?

That depends entirely on your personal goal! If you want to lose weight, replace two of three daily meals with your favorite Balance Shake. You can decide every day which meals those are. If you want to maintain your feel-good weight, you only replace one meal a day with our shake. Don't worry about the yo-yo effect – with a balanced diet surrounding it, you're perfectly set. How do I prepare the shake?

Your creamy Balance Shake is ready in a few seconds. First, pour 275 ml of fresh semi-skimmed milk (1.5%) into the shaker. This prevents powder clumps from settling at the bottom. Then add two heaped tablespoons of shake powder. If you want to be precise, you can also weigh out 18 g. But don't worry: 1 gram of shake powder only has about 4 calories. Now, simply insert the sieve into the lid, screw it on, shake well, and enjoy!

Can I also prepare the shake with milk alternatives?

Yes, you can prepare our Balance Shake with plant-based milk alternatives or even quark or yogurt, as you prefer! Please note, however, that this will change the taste, satiety, and nutritional values, and thus also the calorie count. So, make sure to consider these changes when tracking calories. There is now a wide variety of plant-based milk alternatives. But how do they really differ in terms of nutrients, taste, and environmental footprint? Otherwise, may I eat whatever I want?

There are no forbidden foods at SHEKO! We believe that enjoyment and lightness are essential for well-being. That's why we are big fans of the 80/20 rule. You eat healthily 80% of the time and, for the remaining 20%, you enjoy exactly what you don't want to give up and shouldn't have to. The meal(s) you don't replace with our shake should generally be as balanced as possible – meaning lots of protein, a colorful variety of vegetables, and healthy fats. Are the nutritional values inclusive of milk?

Nutritional tables can sometimes be confusing. On the left, you see the values per 100 g of powder, while the right column (18 g) shows the information for a prepared serving with milk. A prepared Balance Shake thus contains approximately 200 kcal.

Don't worry about the sugar content! The powder itself has only a minimal sugar content – the majority comes from the low-fat milk.
